POPULAR PRODUCTIONS · AN INDIVIDUAL WORK

Premiere scheduled for 2 January 2027 at Nrutyam Samarpayami, Sirsi. Adimaye Alankrute offers an expressive journey from the union of Shiva and Shakti to the boundless compassion of the Divine Mother. Her grace reaches all beings without distinction; the devotee ultimately recognises that even the language of praise is a gift.
This is a newly conceived stage interpretation of inherited Sanskrit poetry, not a claim of newly composing the original verses. A closing benediction invokes auspiciousness and well-being.
Theme and interpretation
Divine feminine power, radiance, compassion, humility and surrender through Bharatanatyam abhinaya.
Composition and musical form
Selected verses from Soundarya Lahari, traditionally attributed to Adi Shankaracharya; new arrangement and stage interpretation for this recital. Individual verse numbers, raga and tala may be documented here when the production score is confirmed.
Speciality of this production
Original stage concept for this Rangapravesha, inspired by the poetic movement from cosmic creation to personal surrender. The literary text is classical; the production and staging are newly arranged.
